The Learning Center of Kathmandu (TLC) was founded by Fr Gregory Sharkey, an American Jesuit, and Raphael Pradhan, a prominent Kathmandu educator, to assist poor Nepalese villagers who have flocked to Kathmandu to escape the political conflict, or the increasingly harsh economic realities of rural Nepal.
